Sherwood, 55, was making up part of Sky Sports' Soccer Saturday team for the 3pm kick offs.

He watched Cole Palmer make history by becoming the first player in Premier League history to score FOUR times in the first half of a Prem clash.

And Sherwood was getting carried away way before the fourth even hit the back of Bart Verbruggen's goal, celebrating Palmer's second live in the Sky Sports studios.

Palmer cooly netted a spot kick to bag himself a double in the 28th minute, prompting Sherwood to give his best shot at Palmer's "cold" celebration.

Chelsea Player vs Brighton Ratings

Palmer continued to impress on Saturday afternoon as Enzo Maresca's Blues took all three points off Brighton in a 4-2 win.

The 22-year-old added a stunning free-kick and a delightful bottom corner finish to his earlier brace to score all four of Chelsea's goals.

The star now has 10 goal contributions in six Premier League appearances this season.

Chelsea continue to look impressive under Maresca too with the Stamford Bridge outfit now fourth in the table, just two points off league leaders Liverpool.
