Schindler wins!
And Schindler is in tears!
Over the course of that match, Searle blew SEVEN match darts!
It will take some time for Searle to get over this, he looks distraught.
But it's Martin Schindler who is your Swiss Darts Trophy champion.
Schindler 7-7 Searle
Even more unbelievably, we're going all the way.
One, final, leg.
Schindler has clung on, and now an opportunity to win it on the throw.
Searle earlier squandered three match darts.
Schindler 4-6 Searle
This has now just got very interesting.
The match is swinging in Schindler's favour, who has broken Searle's throw yet again.
He's within two, and it's Searle's time to feel the pressure.
Schindler on throw.
Schindler 1-5 Searle
The title is getting closer for Ryan Searle.
All he has to do is close it out, maintain his throw, and he will win this.
Searle's average is currently at 100, while his first first 9 darts has been a sensational 113.
Schindler 0-3 Searle
Searle is challenging the throw of Martin Schindler here.
He won the opening leg, a break of throw, then held his own.
Then he broke Schindler again, who missed tops to get on the scoreboard.
Brilliant start from Heavy Metal.
First to 8.
Rydz 1-7 Searle
Heavy metal is through to the final.
It was absolute dominance from him against Rydz, who was living on a prayer there.
He will take on Martin Schindler in the final.
England against Germany. Fun times.
Rydz 1-5 Searle
It is one-way traffic here in Basel.
Rydz is struggling to lay a blow on Searle, who isn't doing anything spectacular.
But it's very controlled.
Rydz 0-3 Searle
It's our first semi.
And it's Searle who is flying, the legs are adding up.
In the third leg, Rydz did his best to close 161.
But it's Searle who finds double tops after Rydz fails to close 30 plus.
Rock 2-7 Schindler
That is some way to finish the contest.
A 140 checkout gets Schindler through the door.
Germany's No1 is on his way to another final, he's destroyed Rock.
Rock 2-6 Schindler
Rock keeps himself ticking over.
It's a break back.
It's 6-2. If he holds this, it could make it interesting.
Rock 1-6 Schindler
96 sets Rock up nicely for 25.
Schindler needs a 124 checkout, but he can only 84. First slip of the game.
Rock only gets 17, the doubles aren't going for him.
Schindler hoovers up the loose change and the double tops to win a leg Rock should have won.
Rock 1-5 Schindler
Schindler misses bullseye. So close.
It would have put him a leg away from the final.
That gifts Rock the opportunity to checkout, which he does.
Rock 0-5 Schindler
Goodness me.
14 darter, couple of 13 darters... Schindler is relentless.
Rock is being massively outscored.
Rock 0-4 Schindler
Schindler needs double tops.
He misses two, but needs a massive adjustment to nail the 40 checkout he needs.
And he only gets it. Schindler is motoring along.
Rock 0-3 Schindler
121 finish for Rock, but he misses by the bullseye.
Same finish for Schindler, but he leaves 36.
Rock can't close though, and Schindler needs double 18 to go three up.
And it's two breaks of throw!
Rock 0-2 Schindler
Great set up by Schindler - leaving himself with double tops when he was 150 plus.
Rock had applied the pressure with an easy finish, but Schindler wasn't having any of it.
Steady start by the German.
Rock 0-1 Schindler
Perfect start for Schindler.
A double 18, and it's a break of leg for the German No 10 seed.
Just to remind you, winner is the first to seven legs.
Searle 6-2 Gurney
Three darts at double tops.
But Searle manages to score just 20, missing all three.
Gurney needs 152, but leaves himself with 56.
Heavy Metal makes no mistake this time and gets the double 10.
Searle 5-2 Gurney
It's been impressive from Searle, who breaks Gurney again.
Gurney is powerless to stop this assault.
Searle to throw for a place in the semi.
Searle 4-2 Gurney
Tops for Searle and that seals it.
Gurney set himself up nicely for a double top finish himself.
The pressure was on. But Searle didn't feel it.
Searle 3-2 Gurney
Gurney holds his throw to keep up the pace with Searle.
He just needs a slip from Searle, and he's in.
Searle 3-1 Gurney
14 darter from Searle.
It's efficient, his finishing is clean.
Gurney needs a break of his own.
Searle 2-1 Gurney
Searle has got into his groove here.
He leads 2-1, early doors, after breaking Gurney.
This already looks to be a big game.
Rydz 6-2 Wade
Ooh! Rydz looked like he was about to win it in style with a Big Fish.
But he leaves 72, with Wade leaving himself a 170 checkout which doesn't really put the pressure on.
Rydz finishes off the 72 needed to smash Wade.
Rydz 5-2 Wade
Rydz is in total charge of his game now.
He's broken Wade again, and if he holds his throw he's through.
Wade's averages have been in the 70s and 80s. Poor from him.
