Born on September 24, 1976, Stephanie McMahon Levesque has been involved in wrestling her entire life.
The businesswoman and former wrestler is the daughter of Vince and Linda McMahon.
As a member of the McMahon family, she is a fourth-generation wrestling promoter.
She began working for WWE at the age of 13, modeling merchandise for various catalogs.
After this, Stephanie appeared regularly on-air for WWE (then known as the WWF as the World Wrestling Federation), and in 1999 was part of a storyline with The Undertaker.
She later pursued her own wrestling career, before retiring in 2018.
Become a boss
Stephanie’s business career began as an account executive for the WWE offices in New York, before becoming the company's head writer and director of creative writing.
In 2006, she was promoted to senior vice president of creative writing, before being promoted to the executive VP of creative.

Triple H romance
Stephanie is married to former pro-wrestler Triple H aka Paul Levesque.
The happy couple wed in Sleepy Hollow, New York, on October 25, 2003.
Triple H turned professional in 1992 and went on to become a 14-time world champion.
After he retired from wrestling he continued his work in WWE outside of the ring which included creating the development brand NXT.
Since 2023, Triple H has been the chief content officer and head of creative for WWE, a subsidiary of TKO Group Holdings.
The star features in Netflix’s documentary Mr. McMahon, which is about his father-in-law - it is released on September 25, 2024.

The couple have three daughters named Aurora, born in 2006, Murphy born in 2008, and Vaughn, born in 2010.

Stephanie's quits WWE - statement in full
Stephenie quit her role as interim CEO and chairwoman of WWE in January 2023.
Here is her statement in full: "About 8 months ago, I took a leave of absence and within a few weeks, unexpectedly had the opportunity of a lifetime.
"I had the privilege to return as the Co-CEO and Chairwoman of the Board of WWE.
"I cannot put into words how proud I am to have led what I consider to be the greatest company in the world, working alongside a remarkable leadership team and one of the strongest executives I have known in my Co-CEO, Nick Khan.
"Our Founder, Vince McMahon, has returned as Executive Chair and is leading an exciting process regarding strategic alternatives.
"And with Nick's leadership and Paul "Triple H" Levesque as Chief Content Officer, I am confident WWE is in the perfect place to continue to provide unparalleled creative content and drive maximum value for shareholders.
"WWE is in such a strong position, that I have decided to return to my leave and take it one step further with my official resignation.
"I look forward to cheering on WWE from the other side of the business, where I started when I was a little kid, as a pure fan.
