Man Utd flop Antony gets engaged to childhood sweetheart as she shares proposal pics and gushing tribute

MANCHESTER UNITED forward Antony has got engaged to childhood sweetheart Rosilene Silva.

The Red Devils winger, 24, made it a lavish proposal as he laid out roses and a red carpet with candles leading to a heart-shaped flower arrangement.

Behind it read the words "Casa Comigo?" which translates to "Marry Me?"

Fortunately for the Man Utd man Rosilene said yes as he planted a kiss on the cheek of his fiancee.

And they three pictures of the proposal on Instagram as they prepare to tie the knot after having two children together.

Alongside the images, Rosilene added the caption: "What God has in store for us is far more than we can imagine… ❤️💍🙏🏻"

Rosilene and Antony met when they were just teenagers.

It is believed the pair met during their time at school in Sao Paulo.

As Antony began to rise through the youth teams, their romance blossomed.

Antony's personal celebration comes amid turmoil in his Man Utd career.

Since arriving in England from Ajax for £85.5million in 2022, he has scored just 11 goals and assisted five in 83 games for Man Utd.

He has only played one minute so far this season - a substitute appearance in the 2-1 defeat to Brighton.

Antony was linked with a move to Fenerbahce before the Turkish transfer window closes on Friday, but now looks set to stay with the Red Devils.
