FIGHT fans were left baffled after seeing footage of UFC icon Nate Diaz casually strolling the streets of Newcastle.
But they were even more blown away by the mixed martial arts legend browsing a local Greggs for a snack.
Diaz, 39, is in the Toon this weekend to corner his pal and long-time team-mate Chris Avila at Misfits Boxing's X Series 18 event.
SunSport understands Diaz arrived in England on Wednesday night before making his way to the northeast.
The fan favourite managed to keep a low profile after touching down in Old Blighty.
But his cover was well and truly blown after he went for a run in Newcastle's city centre.

Diaz ended up being mobbed by boxing and MMA fans, whom he happily took photos with.
Fans then led Diaz into a nearby Greggs bakery, where he took more photos before being recommended the once-viral vegan sausage roll.
UK fight fans couldn't believe their eyes, with one writing on X: "Nate Diaz in a Greggs was not on my bingo card."
Another said: "That is mad, Nate Diaz in a Greggs in Newcastle. Why aye."

And another said: "Nate Diaz in Greggs is something I never thought I'd see."
One remarked: "I need a Nate Diaz review on a Greggs sausage roll."
Another chimed in: "Imagine having a steak bake and a sausage roll with Nate Diaz."
Diaz will be hoping to guide long-time pal Avila to victory tomorrow night against a man he knows all too well.
Avila will throw down with former UFC lightweight champion Benson Henderson, who successfully defended the 155lbs belt against Diaz 12 years ago.
Diaz ended his 15-year-long love affair with the UFC in September 2022, departing the promotion after the expiration of his contract.
The Stockton slugger immediately jumped into the boxing world, taking fights with Jake Paul and former UFC foe Jorge Masvidal.
He was soundly beaten by YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul last August, suffering a unanimous decision defeat.
But he picked up his first pro-boxing win in July with a majority decision victory over Masvidal, which levelled their series at one win apiece.
