TEENAGER Archie Vaughan is following in his dad's footsteps after taking SIX wickets in only his second game of first-class cricket.
Vaughan, 18, managed three wickets on Tuesday and another three on Wednesday as Somerset ended Surrey's first innings at 6-102.
His efforts may not come as a surprise with the youngster the son of former England cricket captain Michael Vaughan.
What may come as a surprise, however, is that Vaughan Jr is primarily an opening batsman - despite his superb bowling efforts.
The batting all-rounder contributed 44 runs from 107 balls in Somerset's first innings, but managed just three during his side's second turn at the crease this afternoon.
The teen sensation signed his first professional county cricket contract in May.

Speaking on signing his professional contract, he said: "It's something that I've worked extremely hard for and it's something that I've strived for since I was a kid.

And the international game is where his dad made his mar,k too.
Vaughan captained England to Ashes glory in 2005, becoming the first skipper to do so since 1987.
Vaughan hung up his bat in 2008 having played in 82 Tests, hitting 18 centuries and boasting an average of 41.44.
And he had a touching, albeit short, message for his son after his efforts for Somerset this week.
Posting on Instagram, he wrote: "Well done young un...".
