Amir Khan vs Manny Pacquiao is OFF with the Filipino boxer’s promoter saying the fight was ‘pie in the sky’
Despite both fighters sending out messages on Twitter saying the fight has been 'agreed', Bob Arum has said it's not happening
AMIR KHAN will NOT fight Manny Pacquiao in April, according to the Philippine fighter's promoter Bob Arum.
It was believed the two boxers had agreed on the fight, that would take place in the early hours of Sunday, April 23, and both had even tweeted the deal had been agreed.
It was understood the blockbuster would rake in around £31million. But now Pacquiao's promoter Arum has called the figures quoted as "pie in the sky", and said his man may fight in April - but it won't be against Khan.

Speaking to the , Arum said: "When they contacted me, I told them it was pie in the sky, that this is crazy, it’s not going to happen.
"Manny wanted to roll the dice. He rolled the dice and it came up snake eyes.
"If something is too good to be true, it’s too good to be true."
Arum went on to describe the figures previously discussed as "outlandish", and said that "they made no sense".
He then confirmed he has sent a new proposal to Pacquiao that could be set for July, and said that any prospect of a fight with Bolton fighter Khan will have to be discussed in autumn 2017.
Arum expects Pacquiao to discuss these with his manager Michael Koncz and agree to the alternative bout.
It will come as a bitter blow to Khan, who is desperate to get back on the winning trail after a sixth round knockout defeat to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez.
Pacquiao, meanwhile, has politics in his native Philippines to concentrate on, but appeared confident that the fight, which could have taken place in the United Arab Emirates, would go ahead.
