NICK KYRGIOS was slammed by tennis fans after a controversial post on social media.
Kyrgios, 29, commented after a social media account posted an old photo of him and ex-girlfriend Anna Kalinskaya, who is now dating World No1 Jannik Sinner.
The former couple were pictured on Twitter attending an NBA match with fellow tennis star Kalinskaya wearing an LA Lakers jersey and the Australian donning a Boston Celtics shirt.
The post was in response to a poll the Aussie posted, asking who would win Sunday night's US Open final between Sinner and Taylor Fritz.
Kyrgios commented beneath the picture: "Second serve."
That led to a fiery response by fans who stormed social media to give the outspoken Aussie a piece of their mind.

Kyrgios caught wind of the angry reaction and offered his side on the comments' section.
Kyrgios responded: "Right… so I’m the one that’s the bad guy for saying something about it? I never brought it up lol don’t take offence if people are gonna bring it up. Simple."
A Twitter user then claimed he used "abusive" language and disrespectful behaviour.
Kyrgios denied it with the following reply: "Abusive? What’s abusive about what I said? I had no intention to say anything about it. People wanna go there deal with the consequences."
However, he has since deleted the original message after the backlash.
