MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea fans have been left fuming after Liverpool closed in on a deal to sign Federico Chiesa.
The Italian is set to join the Reds in a bargain transfer worth just £10million up-front.
Chiesa, 26, is set to pen a four-year contract at Anfield with his deal set to include £2.5m in add-ons.
The forward was in the last 12 months of his contract in Turin and Juventus were keen to cut ties with him.
New manager Thiago Motta cast him out from the squad and insisted that the club was moving in a different direction.
This has allowed Liverpool to swoop in and sign the highly-rated Chiesa for a bargain price.
