American anti-doping chiefs reportedly looking into distance runner after latest revelations about coach Alberto Salazar

MO FARAH has become a target of US Anti-Doping testers after the American body asked their UK counterparts for drug test samples.

But he has welcomed the move, saying he’s “happy” to have his samples evaluated.

USADA have worked with UK Anti-Doping since Farah’s coach Albero Salazar was accused of wrongdoing two years ago.

According to , USADA want to test for EPO or erythropoietyn, which was the infamous substance used by distance runners and cyclists before testers caught up with mass cheating.

The move comes on the back of a report by American testers, that was leaked to The Sunday Times, warning that Salazar had used the chemical L-Carnitine on his athletes.

The naturally occurring substance is not banned by drug authorities but they are concerned that Salazar found the drug as effective as illegal methods of blood doping.

Farah vehemently denies any wrongdoing and disputes any claims he has used banned substances during his stellar career.

He said: “I’m not aware of any request but as I’ve said many times, I’m happy to be tested anytime, anywhere and any of my samples tested or retested now or at anytime in the future, by any official body.”
