ELNAJMM (3.00 York, nap)
The handicapper is still playing catch-up with Haggas’ four-year-old who decimated his rivals on handicap debut at Newcastle. The assessor smacked him with a 10lb rise praying it would be enough, but Elnajmm laughed at it, winning at Ascot ahead of a very useful yardstick. He screams of being a ‘Group horse in a handicap’ and he is 2lb well-in under his 6lb penalty for that easy success. Haggas has surely targeted this pot and with his team in excellent form, Elnajmm can take this on the way to potentially better things in the autumn.
YOU GOT TO ME (3.35 York, nb)
She reverted to hold-up tactics that day and it paid dividends, as she sliced her way through the field to beat Content. The tip is totally unexposed and further improvement is surely on the cards for her. The race should set up perfectly and she can pounce late to beat Queen Of The Pride, who has also impressed this year.
LEOVANNI (1.50 York, treble)
She was impressive when landing the Group 2 Queen Mary at Royal Ascot and this extra furlong can bring out even more from her today She is very exciting and can maintain her unbeaten record.

LEOVANNI had plenty to spare when winning the Queen Mary at Royal Ascot.

She remains totally unexposed and has the world at her feet. An extra furlong should be no bother to her and she can remain unbeaten for top connections.
Heavens Gate has plenty of experience to call upon and she posted a career-best in a valuable race at Naas last time.
She will go from the front and won’t be easy to pass with Ryan Moore setting the fractions.
Celandine ran a cracker in the Molecomb at Glorious Goodwood and will appreciate a return to six furlongs in this. She has a place shout alongside Listed winner Miss Lamai.
2.25
AN OUTLAW’S GRACE was a great third in a French Group 2 after a winning debut.
He ran better than the bare result in the Vintage at Glorious Goodwood – not quite getting home over 7f – and he can return to winning ways back at a sprinting trip.
Arizona Blaze has lots of experience to call on and ran well in a Group 1 at the Curragh last time. His sights are lowered and he makes obvious appeal.
Similar comments apply to Maw Lam, who was third in a Deauville Listed race and wasn’t beaten far in a Group 2 either.
At a big price, Midnight City ran well on debut when flashing home late and could do so again.

ELNAJMM is the classic ‘Group horse in a handicap’ cliche. He laughed at the handicapper’s 10lb rise for his Newcastle win by beating a useful yardstick at Ascot last time.
The form has been upheld since and the pair were clear. He’s well-in under a penalty and should be winning this cosily.
New Image is also penalised for a last time out win at Ascot. He travelled all over his rivals last time and was very good value for the narrow winning margin.
This race will play out to suit and he looks a big danger.
Thunder Run was a costly 4-6 loser on handicap debut. Better was clearly expected and he wasn’t beaten far, so he could be worth another chance.
Blue For You won here two starts ago. He’s on a workable mark and can bounce back from a below-par Goodwood run.
Bopedro has threatened to win a race like this for a long and will be staying on well late for a slice alongside the classy Holloway Boy, who is in good form.
3.35
YOU GOT TO ME relished a return to hold-up tactics when quickening up well to win the Irish Oaks.
She still remains unexposed for her top trainer Ralph Beckett, whose yard is in cracking nick. She can improve again to win a second Group 1 this year.
Content was narrowly behind the selection last time at the Curragh. She has been a model of consistency and like a typical Aidan O’Brien horse, she’s getting better with experience.
She perhaps lacks the potential of others but won’t be far away.
Queen Of The Pride was really impressive when landing the Lancashire Oaks.
She is getting better and better for the Gosdens and is versatile tactically. She had plenty up her sleeve last time and makes obvious appeal.
Emily Upjohn is the classiest horse in the race. It’s been a muddling campaign for her, with her narrow Pretty Polly defeat flanked by two heavy defeats.
Kieran Shoemark will be desperate to win this and break his Gosden Group 1 hoodoo, but she needs her a-game in a very tricky race.
Port Fairy is likely to make the running and could cling to a place.
4.10
FAIRY GLEN still looked to be learning on the job when third in a Newmarket Listed race last time.
She is almost certain to improve again and this track should really suit her – as will the ground.
She is the one to beat and can turn the tables on Divina Grace. She won that Newmarket Listed race, but she loves that track and won’t be as effective here.
Sea Just In Time has Group 1 entries and defied a penalty very easily on the all-weather last time.
She is bred to be very classy and if she is Group 1 class as connections expect, she should be winning this.
Karmology is consistent and ran well in 1m2f Listed race here last time. Up in trip, she is one to take very seriously.
Noisy Jazz was impressive on debut at Newmarket and with natural improvement can place.
4.45
ANGEL HUNTER has showed ability in all three of his runs so far. He smashed through the line over 6f last time and a return to this distance is a big positive.
This opening mark looks generous and with Ryan Moore booked, he can shed the maiden.
Age Of Gold impressed on debut but put in a stinker at Royal Ascot. He’s surely capable of better now he’s sent handicapping and deserves a second chance.
Spell Master has improved with each run and gamely dead-heated at Goodwood last time.
There should be more to come in handicaps and he’s dangerous for in-form Favourite columnist Andrew Balding.
Art Market is on a hat-trick, relishing the step up to 7f last time. He can improve again at this trip.
5.20
QUEEN OF MOUGINS ran a cracker at Goodwood last time, running home strongly over 6f.
She is capable of even better, especially now she’s upped to this distance, and she can double her tally for in-form Ralph Beckett.
Alfa Kellenic made it four wins on the spin at Ayr. This is a lot tougher but she loves her job and will be in the mix.
Arisaig is a strong traveller who was good value for a mile win last time. A drop in distance won’t stop her going close once more.
Improving Elim ran well in a Listed race last time. She is a threat back in a handicap, even one as hot as this. Key To Cotai looks best of the rest.
