David Haye vs Tony Bellew: Dereck Chisora places £500 bet on Scouse fighter to win… through his mate Lethal Bizzle
Heavyweight has tasted defeat against Haye in the past but reckons he's going to struggle against cruiserweight ace Bellew
DERECK CHISORA has revealed he has put £500 on Tony Bellew to defeat David Haye on Saturday night - and Lethal Bizzle placed the bet for him.
Chisora made his presence known at today's press conference at London's O2 Arena, and left those in attendance in no doubt who he is backing.
He said: "I got £500 on Tony, well one of my mates has, Lethal Bizzle, you might know him. If you see him around, tell him I want my money."
Chisora is close friends with the rapper from East London.
As Haye and Bellew engaged in a tense stare-off at the end of the press conference, Chisora made his way to the front of the masses, and shouted, "Tony, go on Tony, go on Tony".
He then urged the pair to "break the record" for the stare-off. It didn't quite do that but went on for around five minutes.
As Haye then turned to the audience, he shouted back to Chisora: "I hope he has the same game plan that
you had, when I knocked you out."
Haye stopped Chisora in the fifth round of their fight in July 2014.
Speaking about Bellew's chances, Chisora added: "He's the cruiserweight champion, he's not trying to be what he's not, he's been focused for this fight.
"David [Haye] is a great athlete, he will go in there and try and knock him out. But the underdog always wins, the world is changing."
Today's press conference went without any of the aggression and viciousness of Monday's Liverpool version, and both boxers appeared calm and relaxed.
But it certainly livened up when Chisora took his huge frame to the front.
