Insinuating that most people associated with Bellew are unemployed, Londoner Haye once again went on the attack. The former world heavyweight champion, who says he has suffered racist abuse from some Bellew fans in the fight build-up, said: "They are morons. I don't want to spend much more time focusing about them.
"Get them to bet all of their dole money on Tony Bellew to win the fight, if they are so confident.
"Hopefully they will lose all of the money they get off the Government."
Haye reassures his own fans that he is in "tip-top" condition after being pictured in Germany earlier this week on a trip to see top sports doctor Hans Wilhelm Muller-Wohlfahrt.
There was talk of an Achilles problem, but Haye says: "He said I'm tip-top, he said exactly what I thought he would say. He said I'm the healthiest he's ever seen me."
Hay has complained of racist abuse in the build-up to one of the most eagerly-awaited bouts on the British boxing calendar.
"There was a few," he claims. "There wasn't a lot but there was more than there needed to be.
"It was a bunch of idiots. I didn't enjoy that but that's what he brings to the table.
"He's mixed-race himself. I don't think his crew realise his background."
