Changes to the Premier League for 2024/25
NOTHING stays the same forever.
And that includes the Premier League, which is making a number of tweaks this season.
Team news will now be released 75 MINUTES before kick-off, 15 minutes earlier than had been the case before.
Things could get crowded on the touchline, with the number of substitutes permitted to warm-up boosted from three players per team to FIVE.
There's also a change to how added time is calculated when a team scores a goal, an update to the 'multiball' system and the introduction of semi-automated offsides - but not straight away.

And one fan told Kate: "Congrats enjoy the rollercoaster because that’s what it will be but it hooks you in."
She thanked many well-wishing fans personally on social media.
And in one such message she gave a clear nod to Villa's new era by adding: "What a time to join."
Apart from fame in front of the camera, Kate has built an army of admirers by posting online pics in an array of colourful outfits, recently including bikinis and sarongs.
But now it's time to focus more on the claret and blue of Villa - amid a two-tone career covering football as well as the gee-gees.
