That's all from Tottenham

Tottenham suffered a 3-2 loss to Bayern Munich a week after also losing 2-1 to Vincent Kompany's side in South Korea.

Spurs opened the scoring with Dejan Kulusevski after just 25 seconds.

However, Bayern hit back with three goals by Dayot Upamecano, Serge Gnabry and Thomas Muller during a dominant first-half performance.

The North Londoners tried to fight back in the second half as Kulusevski completed a brace but the Bavarians held on to their lead.

Kane getting emotional

Bayern Munich star Harry Kane couldn't hide his emotions during his return at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

Kane came back to north London for the first time since rolling credits to his 19-year career with Spurs last summer.

The star striker started on the bench against Ange Postecoglou's men.

And the England captain barely managed to hold back his tears while Tottenham's signature trumpet played moments before kick-off.

The 31-year-old was also awarded by the club alongside Eric Dier.

FT: Tottenham 2-3 Bayern Munich

Bayern Munich picked up another win over Tottenham after their 2-1 victory in South Korea last week.

Spurs enjoyed a brilliant start as they broke through Bayern's defence with Dejan Kulusevski, who found Brennan Johnson and the Wales international set him up for the opener just 25 seconds into the game.

However, the Bavarians fought back just 15 minutes later with a set-piece that saw an unmarked Mathys Tel setting up Dayot Upamecano for a close-range finish.

Vincent Kompany's men turned the game around on 31 minutes when a careless pass by Guglielmo Vicario allowed Jamal Musiala to dispossess Yves Bissouma inside the area before a stunning shot by Serge Gnabry.

And Bayern made it three one minute before half-time when a beautiful free-kick by Raphael Guerrero allowed an unmarked Thomas Muller to head it past Vicario.

A raft of substitutions changed Tottenham's fortunes in the second half and Kulusevski put them back in the game with a brace after an assist from summer signing Lucas Bergvall on 61 minutes.

However, the North Londoners couldn't equalise in a match that saw Harry Kane receiving an emotional hero's welcome from Tottenham fans and club ambassador Ledley King who awarded him and Eric Dier before the match.
