Dyche was impressed with the progress that has been made since his last visit, with seats now installed.

Construction at Bramley-Moore Dock began in July 2021 and the structure was fully completed in February 2024.

There have been several updates since with the dressing rooms finished and artwork, including Everton badges, added.

Dyche suggested the stadium has "come to life" ahead of its opening which is scheduled for next year.

Everton will move into their new ground for the start of the 2025/26 season, ending their 132-year stay at Goodison Park.

Estimates place the cost of the new stadium at a whopping £760million, and work has progressed despite Everton failing to find the necessary funding earlier this year.

The new ground will house 52,888 fans and Dyche is excited to see the finishing touches added to the stadium.

He said on his visit: "Big progress. To see the seats in, the glasswork, the changing areas, and to see it come to life. It's moved on magnificently since I last came down, I think it will be an amazing place."
