Fury has not been in the ring since November 2015, when he beat Wladimir Klitschko to claim the IBF, WBO, IBO heavyweight titles and the WBA super heavyweight title.

The 6ft 8in bruiser came away from boxing due to a numerous amount of personal problems, which included him admitting the use of cocaine.

Fury also is facing allegations that he used the banned anabolic steroid nandrolone, a drug that enhances performance. Fury strongly denies these claims.

Fury had his licence suspended by the British Boxing Board of Control then said he was done with boxing and announced his retirement.

This statement was soon revoked when Fury sent out a tweet saying he is coming back to boxing. Then followed another tweet in December 2016 expressing his ambition at coming back in 2017 to 'takeover.'

He wrote: "I've had a nightmare 2016 done a lot of stuff I'm not proud of! But my promise to you is I'll return 2017 takeover."

David Haye said last week that he is hopeful of Fury returning to boxing as the sport misses him.

He told : "I hope he does. I think heavyweight boxing is more fun with him in it than not in it."

"I always want what’s best for boxing and he’s a big character. He’s always screaming and shouting all kinds of nonsense, so it’s better if he’s in boxing.”
