VIEWERS of Germany's Olympics football match against the USA were left baffled when the broadcast cut to a clip of Thomas Muller playing with a horse.
The German women's team took on the Americans in Lyon for a place in the final.
Fans tuned in back in Germany to see if their team could guarantee a medal by beating Team USA.
But early on in the contest, they'd have been left scratching their heads.
With Team USA's Crystal Dunn about to take a throw-in, just shy of 11 minutes into the game, coverage dramatically cut away from the game.
For around seven seconds, the feed instead showed German icon Muller dancing and fooling around with a horse.

Coverage then returned to the match, as if nothing had happened.
Fans online were quick to pick up on the odd sequence of events.
One wrote: "Now I see Thomas Muller with a horse."
While a second commented: "Imagine an important penalty and as you run up, Thomas Muller pops up and talks to a horse in horse language."

A third joked: "Gold again for Germany in dressage."
And another added: "Unbelievable. In the middle of the broadcast."
Germany went on to lose 1-0 to Team USA.
The match meandered into extra time, before Sophia Smith found a 95th minute winner.
Muller, has never been shy about his love of horses.
The 34-year-old has a horse called Dave - while he also had fans in hysterics when he kissed another, named Kylie Minogue, on the nose.
