BAYERN MUNICH are refusing to budge over Manchester United’s twin targets Matthijs de Ligt and Noussair Mazraoui.
The Germans want £64million for the two defenders — but United have only offered £51m.
Old Trafford chiefs thrashed out personal terms with Dutch star De Ligt, 24, weeks ago.
And Morocco right-back Mazraoui, 26, is also thought to have agreed a five-year deal — both with options of a further year.
Bayern boss Vincent Kompany declared both players surplus to requirements but Munich need to fund a move for Bayer Leverkusen centre-back Jonathan Tah.
United’s ability to meet their demands could hinge on how much can be raised by selling right-back Aaron Wan-Bissaka.

Their hopes of bringing in £15m for Wan-Bissaka, 26, have been boosted by Inter Milan entering the race to sign him. West Ham have offered £10m.
Meanwhile, Man Utd kid Harry Amass is helping ease concerns over Luke Shaw’s injury record.
United only signed the 17-year-old Londoner from Watford a year ago.
Amass, who impressed in pre-season games with Arsenal and Real Betis, might get a chance at the start of the new season due to problems plaguing Shaw and Tyrell Malacia.

England defender Shaw, 29, missed most of the Euros due to a hamstring problem. And Amass said: “My intention is to play first-team football at this club.
“If the opportunity comes, I’ve got to take it with both hands, it could change my career.
“I am just waiting for that moment, I’m ready.”
All-action Amass provided the assist for Amad’s goal in Thursday’s 3-2 win over Betis.
He added: “On the ball I am comfortable, I like to dribble a lot, I like to take on players, I like to excite the fans.”
