United had gone ahead early through Rasmus Hojlund, but everything changed just five minutes later.

The Danish striker was forced off with an injury, before new signing Leny Yoro suffered the same fate 15 minutes aferwards.

The injury blow will overshadow everything for most Man Utd fans, but most players can through unscathed with some valuable minutes in the tank.

ANDRE ONANA - 7

The Cameroon international was all action but not just with his hands.

As a possible sign of things to come next season, he constantly looked to set moves going from the back.

One chest down and volley out wide to Amad stood out. Couple of good saves during the game. Could not be faulted for either goal and made a good stop in end of game Exhibition shoot-out from Kai Havertz to help United win that at least.

AARON WAN-BISSAKA - 7

Quite why United are actively looking to sell the former Crystal Palace right-back is a mystery. Just failed to intercept the ball in the build-up to Arsenal’s equaliser but was still one of the better performers on the night and had looked sharp in training the day before.

Harry Maguire - 7

Spoke well in the week about his heartbreak of missing the FA Cup Final and the Euros. But he bounces back and looked free from the calf injury cost him at the end of last season. 8.

Leny Yoro - 6

As in the game against Rangers the new buy has shown he can make mistakes and make up for them.

Gave the ball away at Hampden but got back to make a crucial block and then here he lost possession in the first minute only to get back and tackle Gabriel Jesus. Went off injured on 35 minutes.

Harry Amass - 5

The 17-year-old bought from Watford last summer is still to make his full competitive debut for the club. United need back up at left back and he will be hoping to provide it but the way he lost Gabriel Jesus for Arsenal’s equaliser got him a talking to from the boss.

Toby Collyer - 6

He impressed against Rosenberg enough to get a start in the next pre-season game against Rangers when he performed well again. Some good penetrating runs here too.

Casemiro - 6

Looks a lot leaner than this time last year in pre-season. The Brazilian looked to be on his way this summer but looks hungry to stay and contribute. 6.

Mason Mount - 8

A good first-half playing in a number ten role. Looked sharp constantly trying to get on the ball and had a good shot well saved at the near post. Could be like having a new player if he can keep clear of the injury problems that blighted his first season at the club. 8

Amad Diallo - 5

Struggled to get in the game but provided a good assist for Mount to get a shot in. 5.

Marcus Rashford - 7

What a great 50 yard ball he produced from deep in his own half to set up Rasmus Hojlund for his goal. Erik ten Hag still believes in the forward despite his drop in form last season.

Rasmus Hojlund - 7

What a start to the US Tour for him. Hit a tenth minute goal as he barged past Ayden Heaven and fired a shot through the legs of Karl Hein. Then moments later he was down injured mouthing that he had a hamstring problem. 7.
