Team GB athletes offered free tickets to ‘strip club’ during Paris 2024 Olympics

The venue celebrated the opening ceremony in style

TEAM GB athletes have been offered free entry to a Paris "strip club" during the 2024 Olympics.

The French capital is hosting the games for the third time this summer.

Friday night saw the opening ceremony take place on the Seine before the first medals were won on Saturday morning.

Athletes will compete for gold across the next two weeks and they have now been given a unique option for their down time.

A restaurant and cabaret venue in Paris is giving free entry to athletes and media members during the Olympics.

Secret Square is known as one of the city's highest-rated "adult venues".

Athletes can claim the offer by showing their credentials at the venue.

A spokesperson told : "During their stay in Paris, athletes, their team & journalists covering the event won't have to pay the entrance fee."

The venue is known for the art of "French striptease" and is located 12 miles from the athletes' village.

Ahead of the games, Secret Square celebrated with a sports-themed night to mark the opening ceremony.

As part of the event, 25 dancers wore uniforms whilst performing on the pole and stage.

Despite the games only starting on Saturday, Team GB are already on the board after winning their first medal.

Divers Yasmin Harper and Scarlett Mew Jensen claimed bronze in the women's 3m synchronised springboard.

The British pair finished behind China and the USA in the final with a score of 302.28 from five dives.
