Lady Gaga performed on the banks of the River Seine as athletes from all 206 competing countries travelled down on 85 boats.

She performed French song Mon Truc et Plumes surrounded by dancers holding black and pink feathers.

It was a fun, high-energy performance, with a dozen dancers in all-black outfits and a full jazz band backing Gaga's live performance.

Lady Gaga stole the show which ran smoothly - until everything went wrong for one dancer.
