A GERMAN football legend is offering fans the opportunity to spend a stay at his house courtesy of Airbnb.
For just £18-a-night, you will get a glimpse into the career of the former star’s home that is full of memorabilia and photos from his career.
Philipp Lahm is widely considered to be one of the greatest full-back’s of all-time.
The 40-year-old came through the ranks at Bayern Munich and, bar an early loan stint at Stuttgart, he spent his entire time as a pro footballer with the Bundesliga giants.
Lahm made 517 appearances for them and helped the club to win a host of honours.
He was part of eight title-winning sides and also lifted the Champions League in 2013.

Lahm also collected 12 more winners’ medals but his finest moment came while playing for his country.
The ace was capped 113 times by Germany and he captained them to 2014 World Cup glory in Brazil.
Lahm has just finished working as the tournament director for UEFA at Euro 2024 but has now found himself in the headlines again in his homeland.
And that is all because he has decided to rent out his house on the Bavarian Tegernsee for an evening via the Airbnb platform.

Speaking to AD Magazine, Lahm said: “I enjoy being a host and have travelled all over the world as a footballer.
“I thought it was a great idea to give other people the opportunity to spend a night in my house.”
It will be available for the night of October 18 (£18) – which is a reference to the shirt number he donned for Bayern.
Those successful will also receive two tickets for a FC Bayern game, a Bavarian dinner from a professional chef plus a signed shirt from Lahm.
No doubt that competition to spend a night at the Lahm residence will be fierce.
But fans can start submitting their booking requests on Airbnb from August 7.
And even though it seems unlikely that Lahm himself will be preparing your morning coffee and attending to all of your needs, he will be the one showing you around.
Lahm says: “As a good host, I will personally welcome the guests and show them around our house.”
As well as his mementos being on display, there is also a trophy that was presented to him by the DFB to commemorate that World Cup victory sitting proudly in his fireplace room.
Lahm said: “My whole life is connected to football, so it’s normal that this is reflected in the house.”
But the property is hugely appealing to everyone - whether you like football or not.
It contains several bedrooms plus the views are incredible.
The property looks out towards the nearby lake and mountains and it also comes with an indoor pool.
Lahm added: “It is a place of retreat where you have nature around you and where it is quieter than in the city.”

And you just never know who you might bump into while you’re out and about in the resort town of Tegernsee.
His former Bayern and Germany team-mate Manuel Neuer, who is still No.1 at club and country, lives nearby to Lahm.
