RASMUS HOJLUND has been given a new Manchester United shirt number for the upcoming season.
The change has also provided a hint at what number new signing Joshua Zirkzee will wear.
United confirmed on social media that Hojlund will have a new squad number for the upcoming campaign.
The Danish striker was unveiled as the club's new No9 alongside the words: "Ready to lead the line."
United also shared a snap of a smiling Hojlund holding up his new shirt with the caption: "Let's cook."
Hojlund inherits the famous shirt from Anthony Martial, who left Old Trafford following the expiry of his contract.

The Red Devils had handed Hojlund the number 11 shirt following his arrival from Atalanta last summer.
He previously wore nine for Austrian side Sturm Graz prior to his move to Italy.
Hojlund has also been included in Erik ten Hag's 29-man squad for their USA tour.

The 21-year-old scored 16 goals in 43 appearances during his debut season in England, as well as providing two assists.
New signing Zirkzee could now inherit the number 11 from Hojlund as he awaits his squad number.
The Dutch forward completed a £36.5million move from Bologna earlier this month.
Zirkzee wore 11 during his first season with the Serie A side before switching to the number nine.
He also donned the number 32 at Bayern Munich, which has been available since Sam Johnstone left United in 2018.
