ROCK LEGEND Ozzy Osbourne was the surprise star of the show as Aston Villa launched their new kits.
And fans were blown away by the video clip as they hailed it as the “best promo we’ve ever seen”.
The 75-year-old Villa supporter Osbourne and his fellow Black Sabbath member Geezer Butler made guest appearances in the unveiling clip.
The video starts with the pair on a phone call, with the vocalist saying: “Ay, Geezer!”
Bassist Butler, also 75, replies: “Alright Ozz?”
Osbourne then declares: “Let’s play Villa Park.”

That leads to Butler replying: “As long as I’m left wing!”
The band’s 1970 hit Paranoid then kicks in as the soundtrack to the video as the footage then shows a young fan praying to a photo of Villa legend Paul McGrath.
A yoga instructor is then shown taking “high line practice” before it cuts to Villa boss Unai Emery at his desk taking a video call from the club’s ex striker Gabby Agbonlahor.
He tells the Spaniard: “Unai, I got this. I'm ready to play.”

Emiliano Martinez is then shown pointing at fan dressed in a full kit inside the changing room and asks: “Who is that?”
The fun continues and then Osbourne and Butler reappear to interrupt their song and put on the Champions League theme music.
Osbourne then shouts to his wife: “Sharon, have you seen my preds?”
Star players John McGinn and Ollie Watkins make appearances at the end before a series of fans, including Osbourne, shout: “Up the Villa”.
The clip was clearly a big hit with fans, and X exploded with delight at the clip.
“Unreal,” said one as another wrote: “What a bloody video.”
A third declared: “Now this is content.”
Another said: “This is bloody excellent. The best promo we’ve ever seen. So good.”
A fellow fan said it was an “absolute masterpiece” while another wrote: “This video is AMAZING.”
