Watch moment Freddie Flintoff’s son Rocky, 16, follows in dad’s footsteps to set England record with stunning century
ROCKY FLINTOFF continued his dramatic rise with a century for England Under-19s at just 16 years old.
Flintoff, son of England legend Andrew, made 106 in the unofficial Second Test against Sri Lanka at Cheltenham having been 82 not out overnight.
It was his third notable century of the summer after three figures for Lancashire 2nd XI against Warwickshire and a hundred for England U-19s against a Young Lions Invitational XI.
At 16 years and 102 days, Flintoff is the youngest player to score a century for England at this age group in an unofficial Test.
Flintoff’s outstanding knock came off 181 balls and included nine fours and two maximums before he was eventually caught.
Rocky was called up by England for the first time ever at the beginning of June.

He recently signed his first pro contract with Lancashire.
Archie Vaughan, son of former England captain Michael, and Jaydn Denly — nephew of one-time England batter Joe — are also in the Under-19s team.
As is Farhan Ahmed, 16-year-old brother of spinner Rehan.
Vaughan failed with the bat after making just six but fellow opener and 18-year-old Denly fared much better and scored 91.

Freddie Flintoff's international career
Flintoff's father Andrew played 79 Tests, 141 one-day internationals and seven T20s for England between 1999 and 2009.
And famously played a key role in England's historic Ashes victory in 2005.
He was captain between 2006 and 2007 and moved into television presenting after his cricket career.
England Under-19 coach Michael Yardy said of Flintoff: "He's a normal teenage lad around the group, but when he gets out in the middle he's more like a 25-year-old."
The talented teenager looked every inch his old man as fans were left with their jaws on the floor.
One fan wrote: "He certainly has a legacy to live up to but it seems he is well capable of doing so."
Another added: "Calling it now. He will be the 'wildcard' for the Ashes next year."
A third said: "He even holds the bat like his dad. Love it!"
Meanwhile, dad Freddie is due to coach the Northern Superchargers in The Hundred next week.
Superchargers' squad includes England Test skipper Ben Stokes, who will be available for four matches during the tournament, with Harry Brook to captain the Headingley-based team.
The star was seriously hurt during a car crash on the Top Gear test track in December of 2022 while filming the now-cancelled car show.
He was left with facial and rib injuries that almost cost him his life.
