Player ratings vs Bournemouth (forwards)
Fabio Vieira – 7
Still so much to prove for the talented Portuguese midfielder. He featured in the Bukayo Saka role wide right. Maybe that is where Arteta seems him developing this season. Scored a brilliant, volleyed opener.
Eddie Nketiah – 6
Subject of interest from a number of clubs it was fitting the striker was named captain on what could be one of the last appearances for a club he has served so well.
Reiss Nelson – 6
Another homegrown talent who has possibly outgrown the club in terms of having no time to secure a starting role. Amazing assist for Vieira’s opening goal but will it be enough to make him more than a sub come the start of the season – if he is still an Arsenal player?
Player ratings vs Bournemouth (midfielders)

The latest breakthrough player from Arsenal’s Hale End academy. Smith Rowe’s departure creates a pathway for the Premier League’s youngest ever player, who made a dazzling early impact down the right wing before laying on a decent chance for Eddie Nketiah,
Player ratings vs Bournemouth (goalkeeper and defenders)
Karl Hein – 7

Interestingly, Emile Smith Rowe wasn't given any minutes off the bench at all against Bournemouth.
In case you missed it, Fulham are reportedly close to breaking their transfer record to sign the Arsenal star for £35million.
He was named amongst the subs and was in attendance in LA but it would have been silly to use him if the deal was close to going through.
The fact he didn't play suggests those reports are spot on and that's one that could motor quite quickly throughout today.
What next for Arsenal?
Their American tour continues with a tasty clash with Manchester United at the weekend, here in Los Angeles.

Minutes in the legs
For the key first team men, it was all about building that fitness ahead of the new season.
But for some of those youngsters and the guys not getting much of a look in, it was a chance to impress.
Hein, Nelson and Nwaneri for Arsenal certainly did that. What does the future hold for those three, though?

Arsenal ahead on the night through Fabio Vieira's volley, cancelled out with 15 minutes to go when Semenyo's effort deflected off White and found the corner of the net.
Karl Hein, Arsenal's Estonian keeper, was the standout of the night after a couple of top saves.
One in particular from Solanke, tipping onto the crossbar was sensational.
He saved two in the shoot-out, too as Arsenal conclude their opening game in the US.
