UFC star Conor McGregor continues boxing training campaign with latest video showing him hard at work on the heavy bags for dream Floyd Mayweather fight
CONOR MCGREGOR is still targeting on a mega-money boxing match with Floyd Mayweather as his ring training continues away from UFC.
The MMA star has posted another video of himself in the 'Box n Burn' gym in Santa Monica, dedicating all his training time to hitting heavy bags.
There are no signs of the grappling gloves and jiu-jitsu training he would usually be associated with at his Straight Blast Gym in Dublin.
The relentless trash-talking and between the two-weight UFC boss and the 49-0 boxing legend has quietened down.
But McGregor continues to train on his feet, with heavy gloves, as he takes time away from UFC to concentrate on becoming a father soon.
The Crumlin hero has been enjoying the high life in Los Angeles – snapped in his usual loud clobber – but has also been working hard on his fighting.
McGregor wants to land the fight and the giant cross-over PPV payday that Mayweather guarantees but he is contracted to UFC and lacking a boxing license in Las Vegas.
Mayweather, however, appears to have grown tired of the constant speculation and his last words to the MMA don were, essentially, to shut up or put them up.
