Jake Paul vs Mike Perry LIVE RESULTS: Paul calls out Conor McGregor and Mike Tyson after stunning win – updates

JAKE PAUL returned to the boxing ring by beating Mike Perry with a stunning knockout - and now has set his eyes on Mike Tyson.

Former UFC and bare-knuckle champ Perry was blitzed after just 40 seconds of a brutal clash at a jam-packed Amalie Arena in Tampa but he held on until the sixth round.

Paul said after the win: "He was hard as nails, but I'm sorry it took so long. He may be the King of Violence, but Mike Tyson, you're next. I am excited for that one."

  • Tyson breaks silence

    Mike Tyson sent an ominous message to Jake Paul after watching him in action against Mike Perry.

    The 58-year-old posted a video of himself watching Paul winning to his Instagram and X pages.

    Prior to the video post, he wrote: "[The] countdown begins.

    "118 days -16 weeks and 6 days- 17 weekends - 2,832 hours - 169,920 minutes - 10,195,200 seconds

    "[The] clock starts now. #TysonPaul #TheClockIsTicking #JakesWake."

    Jake Paul improved to 10-1 as a boxer after knocking out Mike Perry last night and sent an ominous warning to Tyson ahead of their rescheduled bout.

    Jake Paul was called out by Julio Cesar Chavez Jr after the former world champion was booed for his performance.

    Chavez Jr - son the legendary Mexican icon Julio Cesar Sr - returned in Florida against ex-UFC star Uriah Hall on Paul's undercard last night.

    And Chavez Jr - who formerly held the WBC middleweight title - laboured to a points decision.

    “Jake Paul, why not?" Chavez Jr responded when asked who he wants to fight next.

    “I’m a better fighter than his opponents, that’s for sure.”

    Conor McGregor blasted Jake Paul for setting his sights on Mike Tyson again after his victory over Mike Perry.

    Paul's win over Perry did little to impress McGregor, who launched a blistering and accusation-filled tirade at him on social media.

    The former two-division champion wrote on X: “Jake Paul is the biggest pi**bag I have ever seen in my life.

    "40-pound weight difference, juiced out of his head, and still s***ing himself in there.

    "B***h asses. You could never. And then calling out 60-year-old Mike Tyson fresh off an in-flight medical emergency?

    "I swear to god, a fat can of b**** p***. Most valuable p***bag.”

    Mike Tyson was advised to withdraw from the initial fight against Jake Paul which was scheduled for last night after suffering an ulcer flare up.

    He came back in 2020 for an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr that ended in an eight-round draw.

    Tyson posted a video of himself watching Paul's fight and teased that the "Countdown Begins."

    Paul, visibly larger than his opponent, was never in trouble despite flashes from Perry.

    This was his first boxing bout, and it showed as Paul crunched a series of thumping left hooks and a final right to send the Cleveland fighter down in the sixth.

    The ref and everyone here, including WWE superstar Hulk Hogan, had seen enough as Paul won convincingly to suggest that his tussle with Tyson, set for November 15th, should be equally as lively.

    Jake Paul said the Tyson fight is on "100 per cent" and that the 58-year-old, once dubbed the most dangerous man, is looking "as crazy as ever."

    "Mike, I love you, this is my sport now," Paul added. "I am honoured. You are a legend, but I am going to take your throne."

    The big fight will take place on November 15 from Dallas, Texas.

    Jake Paul's top boxing prospect Ashton Sylve was brutally knocked out in a fight he was cruising in.

    Sylve took on 16-0 Canadian puncher Lucas Bahdi and stormed to an early lead.

    But suddenly in round six he was hit with a thudding right hand and the follow up left hook sent the young American crashing to the canvas.

    The fight was immediately waved off to crown Bahdi as the come-from-behind victor and Sylve beaten for the first time.

    Jake Paul took the opportunity to send an ominous warning to Tyson while also calling out UFC champion Alex Pereira.

    Paul said: "I'm going to go home and prepare for that. And, Alex Pereira, you said you want to box, I'm the king of this.

    "I'm the king of this, come over we can make it happen. I want you Alex Pereira.

    "Indeed, I just beat a BKFC champion, I beat multiple UFC champions and he said he wants to box, so Alex Pereira, after Mike Tyson lets make it happen."

    "You can see my knuckle was basically broken before the fight."

    But Paul insisted it was not further delay his fight with Tyson.

    Mike Perry is going to take some time off now after the KO loss to Jake Paul through the early hours of the night.

    Perry was knocked down within 40 seconds but held on until the sixth round in the gruelling bout, though did have moments of success against Paul.

    Having been knocked down in the first round and put under severe pressure in the second, it seemed like the end bout was going to be a short one for Mike Perry.

    However, he fought back in the third round and asked some serious questions of Jake Paul who he seemed to be running on an empty tank before getting a second wind.

    Paul continued to shower punches on Perry, whose hands were constantly down in the fight, before finally stopping him in the sixth round.

    Mike Perry had a lot to say before his showdown in Florida with Jake Paul.

    That certainly did not seem the case this evening as Perry seemed to struggle with the power behind his opponent's punches, finally sent to the canvas before the referee decided his fight was done.

    After his impressive victory this evening, Jake Paul had plenty to say, which is what we have all come to expect.

    He had a message for Tyson, called out another UFC champion and told the world where he plans to go:

    Man he is tough as nails. Respect to Mike Perry, he is the king of violence. Mike Tyson, you're next big boy, sign the contract. I have beat mutliple UFC champions, after Mike Tyson I want Alex Pereira. My knuckle was basically broken before this fight. I am a warrior, we put it all on the line. In two and a half years, I will be the cruiserwieght champion of the world.
