Manchester United were beaten in Norway 1-0 by Rosenborg as Noah Emmanuel Jean Holm netted at the death.

Despite pre-season fixtures being used to build fitness and test the players before the 2024/25 season, fans think they spotted something important for the campaign ahead.

Against Rosenborg, fans were left convinced that Mount has been given a new role by Ten Hag.

The former Chelsea man appeared to play in a deeper role which left fans impressed.
