ALVARO MORATA is joining AC Milan from Atletico Madrid less than 24 hours after lifting the Euro 2024 trophy.
Spain captain Morata, 31, helped break English hearts as La Roja edged it 2-1 in Berlin on Sunday night, thanks to Mikel Oyarzabal's late strike.
Now, just one day later, Morata has even more reason to celebrate - after sealing a transfer to Italian giants Milan.
According to transfer insider , Milan have triggered the striker's £10.9million release clause to seal the bargain deal.
The ex-Chelsea player has agreed personal terms with the Rossoneri and is about to sign a four-year deal.
Morata is now expected to undergo a medical at the San Siro within the week.
