Lewis Hamilton judges competition to design him a new helmet ahead of coming Formula 1 season
Hamilton has been sent 8,000 designs from adoring fans and reveals the three runners-up to SunSport

LEWIS HAMILTON might be Britain’s quickest sports star but he also likes to look cool while driving at 200mph.
The Mercedes ace, 32, asked Formula One fans to design his racing helmet for the 2017 season, which kicks off in Melbourne on March 26.
And he was inundated with more than 8,000 ideas from petrolheads around the world.

So here, SunSport exclusively reveals the three runner-up artworks which caught Lewis’ eye.
All three designers will receive a signed half-size replica of their helmet.
Three-time world champ Hamilton is due to reveal the winning design to his eight million followers on Facebook and Instagram today.
He will then wear it over the next nine months — replacing last year’s lid (left) — as he tries to win back the world title he surrendered to former team-mate Nico Rosberg in 2016.
Meanwhile, Hamilton has rubbished talk that he wants to freeze out new team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
Reports had misinterpreted Hamilton's comments on his reluctance for drivers to share data.
He said: "My point on data sharing is solely my feelings about the sport in general It has been my feeling since the day I started F1 and still is 10 years later.
"There is zero problems in my team, zero problems with Bottas."
