DREAM COMPOSER (3.05 Sandown, nap)
James Evans’ flyer won this race 12 months ago and is back for another crack from a lower mark. Young rider Joe Leavy has built up a good partnership with this six-year-old who won the red-hot Dash at Epsom last time and is hard to fault.
AESTERIUS (2.30 Sandown, nb)
He will find this easier than his excellent run in the Norfolk Stakes at Royal Ascot last time. He more than held his old in that Group 2 contest and was just over a length away crossing the line. That was just his second run so he should improve on this fair drop in class.
ANNO DOMINI (3.40 Sandown, treble)
He looked a star in the making when winning on debut at Newbury last time out. He didn’t have to get out of second gear when cruising along and William Buick didn’t ask too many questions in winning by just under a length. This expensive buy can leave that form behind here.
CAMBRIA LEGEND (3.15 Doncaster, Lucky 15)
He was a good winner over this trip at Haydock before another good run at Lingfield. He has more to offer for in-form trainer James Fanshawe.
