UFC legend Khabib Nurmagomedov ‘has bank accounts frozen by Russian authorities over £2.4m tax debt’
KHABIB NURMAGOMEDOV has had his bank accounts frozen by Russian authorities, according to reports.
The UFC legend retired from the sport with an undefeated 29-0 record in October 2020 following a second-round submission win over Justin Gaethje at UFC 254.
It comes after the Russian allegedly racked up sizeable tax debts said to be worth over £2.4million ($3m).
Nurmagomdeov has diversified into business following his retirement.

The news also comes just days after police in Russia's Dagestan region raided a fight club linked with Abdulmanap Nurmagomedov, the father of Khabib, over a hunt for suspected supporters of a terrorist cell.
Rumours of a possible return to the Octagon for Nurmagomedov began surfacing earlier this year.
Footage emerged of him in the gym while he was also spotted with former coach Javier Mendez.
