ENGLAND star Anthony Gordon suffered a bizarre injury during Euro 2024 that left him with a patch on his chin.
The unfortunate knock took place way off the pitch without a single ball being kicked.
Gordon, 23, shone bright last season with Newcastle during his full maiden campaign at St James' Park.
The winger amassed a total of 12 goals and 11 assists in 48 appearances across all competitions with the Magpies.
And England fans were so impressed that they've called on manager Gareth Southgate to give more opportunities to the ex-Everton star, some even insist he should be in the starting line-up.
Southgate finally gave Gordon his first few minutes in the competition on Tuesday as he came on as a second-half substitute during the drab goalless draw with Slovenia.

What happened to Anthony Gordon?
Anthony Gordon is now sporting a shiner on his chin after falling off a bike during a recovery session.
Gordon was pedalling away on Wednesday along with the rest of his England team-mates who featured in the 0-0 draw with Slovenia the night before.
But the winger fell off and was spotted on Thursday with a graze on his chin, nose and some red marks on his wrists as well as hands.

Luckily, the Newcastle star, who wasn't even going very fast, was wearing a helmet to avoid further damage and took part in full training on Thursday.
That allayed any fears that his unexpected injury could impact his involvement for Sunday’s Last-16 clash with Slovakia.
England stars often ride bikes around their training base in Blankenhain to aid recovery on days after games and also enjoy some yoga sessions.
