ITV host interrupts Euro 2024 broadcast to announce pundit has ‘withdrawn’ from role
MARK POUGATCH broke the news that Danny Rohl was leaving ITV's Euro 2024 coverage live on air.
The Sheffield Wednesday manager had been providing insight into the tournament.
But Pougatch interrupted coverage of Portugal pasting Turkey to announce that Rohl, 35, was departing.
The Owls chief is returning to the UK to begin preparations for Wednesday's pre-season.
He and Pougatch were joined by Eni Aluko and Gary Neville in the studio yesterday.
And fans were impressed with his contributions, taking to X to share their thoughts.

One wrote: "Real shame Danny Rohl has to leave the ITV studio to go to Sheffield Wednesday pre-season, a welcome voice on the panel."

Host Pougatch was "substituted" for Laura Woods following Portugal's 4-0 win.
Woods stepped in for Pougatch as attention turned to Belgium vs Romania in the day's final match.

Ahead of the changeover, Woods could be seen walking into the studio live on air.
As well as the presenter change, a fresh look to the pundits also followed as Tottenham manager Ange Postecoglou joined the panel.
Fans loved the presenter substitution and were quick to react on social media.
