Most of the big nations came through their tournament openers with victories and will be looking to book their places in the knockout stages with another win this week.
But there was still room for shocks as Belgium suffered a devastating 1-0 defeat to Slovakia.
Italy, Holland and Portugal narrowly avoided dropping points as they came from behind to win.
England and France edged past Serbia and Austria respectively, while Germany and Spain claimed comprehensive victories over Scotland and Croatia.
But who are now the favourites following one round of games?

Well, according to Bettingexpert's supercomputer, , England remain the front-runners despite an unconvincing display against Serbia.
The algorithm comes to a conclusion based on "all match results from the season played across all competitions and involved countries, projecting the remainder of the campaign based on both pre-season expectations and xG earned both for and against".
And it states Gareth Southgate's men have a 20.97 per cent chance of ending the Three Lions' 58-year trophy drought.
They are three per cent ahead of France - who have reached back-to-back World Cup finals under Didier Deschamps.

Then come hosts Germany, with Portugal and Spain the only other teams boasting a chance of glory of more than 10 per cent.
Belgium and Croatia's defeats have seen the supercomputer predict them to finish third in their respective groups.
And despite starting with wins, Romania and Slovakia are still languishing in 19th and 20th place.
Their chances of winning the competition stand at just 0.06 per cent.
