Heavyweight pair Tim Johnson and Danilo Marques competed in the second round of the Professional Fighters League's 2024 play-off season.

And fans got more than they bargained for in round one when both men hit the deck - at the SAME TIME.
Johnson landed a brutal overhand right to drop Marques.
But the Brazilian threw a kick at the same time that landed as a low-blow to his American opponent.
Both went down and got up equally as confused - with fans also stunned.

Johnson was given time to recover and eventually went onto win in the very same round.

It earned him six points for the first-round stoppage and saw him progress into the PFL play-offs.
Now, the final four will fight it out for a place in the winner-take-all finale fight for $1million.

Johnson revealed he was none the wiser to as what had happened after the simultaneous knockdown.
He said: “I had no idea that I even landed. That hurt. It was definitely the worst groin strike I’ve ever had.
"I didn’t know. I just heard everyone booing, and I was like, ‘I’m sorry guys, I got kicked in the groin. I’m trying'.
"But then I found out they were booing at Danilo.”
