  • Full time - Turkey 0-3 Portugal

A dominant display from Portugal that ensures they will finish top of Group F.

It was a result never in doubt once Turkey self-destructed for a comical Samet Akaydin own-goal from in the first half.

Manchester men Bernardo Silva and Bruno Fernandes were also on target as the Selecao sent our a warning shot to the tournament favourites.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

90+2. Teenage Arda Guler was the player the Turkey fans wanted to see today, and he hasn't disappointed in his cameo.

Since coming on in the 70th minute, the midfielder has made 100% of his line breaking passes in the final third (five out of five).

No player has made more in the final third in this entire match.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    90. There will be an extra five minutes of stoppage time to be played in a game that has become quite farcical,

The number of pitch invaders on to mob Cristiano Ronaldo is now up to four which has irritated the Portuguese captain, the Portuguese staff, all the players, the match officials, and - worst of all - Lee Dixon on ITV co-commentary.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal - Portugal substitution

    88. It's time for another highly-rated youngster to make an appearance.

Joao Neves is only 19, and is another representative of Benfica in the Portuguese ranks.

The midfielder is on for Vitinha.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    86. A Bruno Fernandes through ball is just too heavy for Antonio Silva.

The Benfica man stretches out a leg in an attempt to flick it around Altay Bayindir, but the Turkey goalkeeper does well to smother.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    84. Ronaldo has now had nine shots at Euro 2024 which is more than any other player at the tournament.

Still no goals for the Portugal captain though which must be infuriating him no end.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal - Portugal substitution

    82. And now Pepe is withdrawn by Roberto Martinez.

The veteran defender departs to a standing ovation from Portugal and Turkey fans alike.

He's greeted like a hero by his squadmates on the bench before retreating to his seat with a blanket and an Ovaltine.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    80. The introduction of Turkey's teenagers have certainly given some new impetus to Vincenzo Montella's team.

It's just unfortunate that they're coming up against someone enjoying as perfect an Indian Summer as Pepe.

    The 41-year-old - 41! - has been excellent tonight.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    78. Turkey corner. Pepe header. Huge cheer.

Turkey corner. Pepe header. Huge cheer.

Turkey cross. Pepe clearance. Huge cheer.

"Oh, just give him the ball," laughs Lee Dixon.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal - Turkey substitution

    76. Off comes Akaydin, limping towards the touchline with the help of a medic, a real grimace upon his face.

Merih Demiral is on for his 46th cap.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    74. It's really unravelling for Turkey and Samet Akaydin.

An own goal, an unjustified a yellow card, and now an injury that looks as though it will end his performance prematurely.

The Fenerbahce defender is in a lot of discomfort, and holding his side after a coming together in midfield.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    72. Ronaldo is strolling around now like me when I'm forced to go to a garden centre on a Sunday when there's a decent match on the television.

To be fair, he's earned it. I rarely have.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    70. Speaking of young children, here's Arda Guler.

The highly-rated Turkish midfielder is 19 although looks 13, and plays his football with Real Madrid.

He's scored twice in eight international caps, and is on for Yunus Akgun of Leicester City.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    68. The Turkey fans let out their biggest cheer of the day, and all for a young child that has invaded the pitch, taken a selfie with Ronaldo, and then evaded five hopeless stewards on his way back to the stands.

Of course, UEFA being the spoilsports that they are don't allow television viewers the opportunity to see it.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    66. This Ronaldo lad is rubbish.

Perfectly placed for Silva's cross, the striker leaps too early and gets completely underneath the ball, eventually veering it back towards the corner flag.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    64. With the game in its final third, Portugal have only had three attempts on target.

Mind you, they've only scored themselves with two of those.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    62. Young Yildiz is battling in the face of adversity as only a youngster can - twisting, turning, and firing off target.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal - Turkey double substitution

    60. Two more change for Vincenzo Montellia, who introduces Juventus teenager Kenan Yildiz and midfielder Ismail Yuksek.

And it's a KO for two KAs as Kaan Ayhan and Kerem Akturkoglu head off.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    58. And now it's the Portuguese fans - outnumbered at least by three to one - that are making all the noise.

The emotions emanating from the Turkey fans ranges from despair to shock to fury.

  • Turkey 0-3 Portugal

    56. Three and easy!

The game had almost descended into walking pace since the restart, and now Portugal have walked the ball in.

Cristiano Ronaldo breaks beyond a sluggish Turkish offside trap, let down by Zeki Celik, and moves clear on Altay Bayindir.

Less selfish in his old age, the captains opts against going for glory to square the ball so that Bruno Fernandes can tap in at the far post.

    Game over.
