LUKE LITTLER has thrown his support behind Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.
The Red Devils fan was relieved to see his side claim silverware as United beat rivals Manchester City in the FA Cup final on Saturday.
Littler has revealed he wants Ten Hag to stay after his triumph and says he would back the manager even if he had lost that match.
The darts sensation wants the United board to give the Dutchman some time after going through a series of managers since Sir Alex Ferguson left.
Littler told : "I want him to stay no matter what. Even if we lost.
"If you look down the line of managers we've had like Louis van Gaal who won the FA Cup and then got sacked after a season, I think Mourinho's the only one who had two to three years. David Moyes, he only had ten months.

"So I just think we [should] keep him. Because we're getting these managers for a year or two and they're not doing anything. So if we give them time things might change.
"I like what he does. Just give him time. Give him next season and if he doesn't do ought, let him go."
Ten Hag faced the sack if he did not win at Wembley and his position at Old Trafford is still under consideration.
But a swell of fan support means Ten Hag could avoid the axe - for this summer at least.

Ineos and co-owner Sir Jim Ratcliffe had reportedly lined up several managers to replace Ten Hag if he was sacked.
They include England boss Gareth Southgate as well as Ipswich manager, Kieran McKenna, with Mauricio Pochettino, Thomas Tuchel, Thomas Frank and Graham Potter also in the frame.
Meanwhile, Littler is set to feature in the US Darts Masters on Saturday after surprising fans with his appearance on the MMA Hour.
One fan reacted saying: "Luke Littler on the MMA Hour is a bit mad 😂"
Another added: "Luke Littler on #TheMMAHour. Good to see🎯"
