BAYERN MUNICH could line up with a bold new look under Vincent Kompany, with Jack Grealish and Adam Wharton in his sights this summer.
The Manchester City legend has officially taken charge at the Allianz Arena.
Kompany’s arrival on a £10million deal from Burnley was confirmed today, with the Belgian vowing to restore Bayern back to the top of the Bundesliga table.
But there will be plenty of challenges for Kompany, who replaces Thomas Tuchel in the dugout.
Bayer Leverkusen are riding high after going the season unbeaten, with Xabi Alonso’s champions sure to strengthen in key areas.
And it means Bayern will need to go gung-ho in the market too.

SunSport understands Kompany wants a new winger, and City Treble winner Grealish is at the top of his list.
The England star has not enjoyed the best of seasons under Pep Guardiola, but his technical skills could work wonders in Germany on the left flank.
SunSport can also reveal Kompany is a huge fan of Crystal Palace playmaker Wharton.
The youngster only moved to Selhurst Park in January, with his impressive form potentially earning him a Euros spot.

Bayern could bid farewell to Leon Goretzka this summer, and Wharton may be the ideal midfield partner for Joshua Kimmich.
Elsewhere, Kompany is likely to target two new full-backs.
Ian Maatsen is understood to be high on Bayern’s list after starring on loan at Borussia Dortmund from Chelsea, having also impressed under Kompany at Burnley last year.
And Kompany could sanction a second raid on City for Kyle Walker, who almost signed for Bayern last summer to escape his off-pitch woes.
A final signing could see Kompany go for RB Leipzig attacker Dani Olmo, a move which would boost Bayern’s efforts in the final third while also weakening a rival side.
The new Allianz Arena boss would likely keep faith with stars including Harry Kane, Eric Dier and Matthijs de Ligt.
While Manuel Neuer and Jamal Musiala are sure to continue playing big roles as Bayern look to regain their crown.
