West Ham set to land Brazil star who beat England as first signing as five-man transfer shortlist is drawn up
WEST HAM are close to completing their first signing of the summer after agreeing a deal for Brazilian defender Fabricio Bruno.
Bruno, 28, is set to make the move to the London Stadium from Flamengo for £12.5million.
And he will also cost a further £2.5m in add-ons depending on how many appearances he makes.
The defender is a Brazil international with two caps, having impressed against England at Wembley in March on his debut.
West Ham are keen to make a fast start this summer after appointing Julen Lopetegui to succeed David Moyes.
The Hammers are targeting three deals before the end of June - with the new manager officially starting his new gig on July 1.

Planning alongside technical director Tim Steidten, however, is well underway.
Steidten has visited South America and the East Londoners are also targeting a move for 19-year-old winger, Wesley Gassova.
The Corinthians teenager is valued at up to £30m by the Brazilian club.
But that is an asking price the Hammers are not willing to meet as it stands.

West Ham are in need of a left-winger to add to the forward line ahead of the new season.
