New England Patriots won Super Bowl 51 in Houston this February beating Atlanta Falcons... but thoughts have already turned to next year's spectacle
THE New England Patriots won Super Bowl 51 in Houston this February, mounting a stunning comeback against Atlanta Falcons to win 34-28.
But thoughts have already turned to next year's spectacle when the regular season begins in September.
Before that, of course, the draft will take place in April in Philadelphia before the franchises have their training camps - all leading up to the magical Super Bowl event.
SunSport provides all the key information ahead of next year's 52nd instalment of the biggest sporting event in the world.
When is Super Bowl 52?
The game is scheduled to be held on February 4, 2018 - so you have almost exactly a year to wait until you can stay up all night to watch the action - and the all important half time show, of course.
Where is Super Bowl 52 taking place?
It will take place at the U.S. Bank Stadium in Minneapolis, Minnesota - home of the Minnesota Vikings. The City beat off competition from Indianapolis, Indiana and New Orleans, Louisiana.
And it is one impressive stadium - opened in July last year, it houses up to 70,000 people and has one of the most impressive glass roofs in the world.
The Twin Cities last played host to the Big Game 26 years ago, when Washington beat Buffalo 37-24 at the Metrodome in Super Bowl 26.

Who are the possible participants for Super Bowl 52?
Of course, there are a range of teams from across the USA competing to make it to the Super Bowl - the biggest prize of them all in the NFL.
But after their heroics this season, it is hard to discount the New England Patriots, who unsurprisingly opened as the early bookies' favourites when the odds were released shortly after Super Bowl 51.
Other teams with strong chances are Dallas Cowboys and the Green Bay Packers, both in the NFC - the Patriots are in the rival AFC - and also the Pittsburgh Steelers and the Atlanta Falcons, who came so close this time.
