Tennis legend Rafael Nadal joins world number one Andy Murray in playing at Queen’s Club ahead of Wimbledon this summer
The Spanish legend - a 14 time Grand Slam single title holder - won the Aegon Championship back in 2008
RAFA Nadal will battle it out with world number one Andy Murray for the Queen's Club title this summer, it has been revealed.
The Spanish legend - a 14 time Grand Slam single title holder - won the Aegon Championship back in 2008 before going on to win Wimbledon.
And it has now been announced he will return to W14 in June in grass court preparation for the All England Club.
World number six Nadal said: "I am very happy to be coming back to Queen's in June.
"Winning the title in 2008 is a great memory for me, the people that organise the event at Queen’s and the British crowds are fantastic.
"It is the best way for me to be ready for Wimbledon."
Nadal has won two Wimbledon crowns back in 2008 and 2010 which both followed good runs at Queen's.
The 30-year-old, who reached the Australian Open final last month, also reached the final of SW19 back in 2006 and 2011.
