TY HIM DOWN

Tyson Fury tells Anthony Joshua he’s willing to ‘NEGOTIATE’ big Battle of Britain, but on one condition, as date emerges

The date for the pair's long-overdue meeting has already been revealed

TYSON FURY is willing to "negotiate" a blockbuster Battle of Britain with Anthony Joshua - but on one condition.

Fight fans around the world have been waiting for the best part of a decade for the pair, 35 and 34 respectively, to share the ring.

The duo were on course to have back-to-back fights in late 2021 and early 2022 before Deontay Wilder won his legal case for a trilogy fight with the Gypsy King.

The fight seemed dead in the water after Joshua suffered back-to-back defeats to Oleksandr Usyk, although the former unified champion's recent resurgence has put it back on the table.

Joshua will be ringside for Fury's bid to become undisputed heavyweight champion against his conqueror on Saturday night.

And Fury is willing to talk business with AJ, but only after he wins his consecutive clashes with Usyk.

The WBC heavyweight champion said: “There’s not much he can build because we have a two-fight deal, so if he builds what he wants to do he has to wait until it’s all over.

"Then we can negotiate."

Purse splits and dates proved to be a stumbling block in the last round of negotiations for the biggest fight in the history of British boxing.

But with Saudi boxing supremo Turki Alalshikh eager to make the bout, Fury doesn't foresee there being any issues next time around.

He continued: "Now the Saudis are involved and His Excellency is controlling everything, he can make these fights like that because money is not a problem.

“And it’s always about money in these deals and why they don’t get made.

Anthony Joshua hints mega clash with Tyson Fury will happen in September and says 'it's coming, most definitely'

Inside Tyson Fury's modest £550k house

TYSON FURY has millions in the bank - but he used to live in the most modest of houses.

Before upping sticks to a new £1.7million mansion in 2021, Fury, his wife Paris and their seven kids used to live in a modest house in Morecambe Bay.

The Fury clan resided in a five-bed and four-bed bathroom worth £550,000, according to Zoopla.

There's nothing super swanky about the Furys' former home, which is filled with homages to Tyson's achievements inside the ring.

And despite having enough money in the bank to live in the grandest of houses, The Gypsy King was all too happy to call the simple house home.

Speaking on a three-part ITV documentary in 2020, "People say to me, 'Why don't you live in California or America?' - why would I?

"Why would I abandon my own country for a bit of money and some fame?

"I love it. I would never leave Morecambe. It's true beauty.

"If the weather was better, every house here would be a million quid."

"All fights are easy to make in any weight division. Turki will make them.”

The tentative plan is for Fury and Usyk to renew their rivalry on either October 12 or October 13.

And should Fury come out of the contest unscathed, Alalshikh wants him to throw down with Joshua next March.

Joshua hasn't fought since his brutal second-round KO of former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou in March.

But he's on course for a Wembley war this September against the winner of the upcoming IBF heavyweight title fight between Filip Hrgovic and Daniel Dubois.

He told talkSPORT: "Whenever they tell me there's a date, you know I'll be ready 100 per cent.

"It's gonna be in London, Wembley Stadium.

"This is what I'm being told. If that's what they say, they normally back their word so let's go with that.

"Wembley, September 20 or 21."
