Chris Eubank Jnr believes winning the IBO super-middleweight is his ticket to face all the big names including James DeGale and Billy Joe Saunders
CHRIS EUBANK JUNIOR believes winning the world super-middleweight title is his ticket to boxing’s big time.
Junior ripped the IBO version of the crown from Renold Quinlan at London’s Olympia where he stopped the Aussie after ten rounds of brutal one sided action that finally forced referee Howard Foster to step in.
The expected victory over inexperienced Quinlan meant dad, former world title holder Chris and his lad Chris Junior became the first British father and son world champions.

Young Eubank, who stopped Quinlan for the first time, said: “I had eight months out of the ring so there was a bit of rust there but we got the win against a very tough opponent.
“There’s no time to waste now, this belt is my ticket to the big time, my ticket to challenge all the other world champions in the world at middleweight or super-middleweight.”
Top of Eubank’s list is WBO middleweight Billy Saunders who inflicted Eubank’s only career defeat, followed by unbeaten puncher Gennady Golovkin and James DeGale the IBF supermiddleweight champion.

“I’ve sparred DeGale before I was a pro and dealt with him in that ring. I know what he is and I know what I can do to him. Let’s do it.
“DeGale says he doesn’t want any part of fighting me, what does he mean? Do you mean you’re afraid of me.
