ROMELU LUKAKU took just 30 seconds to put Everton ahead against Bournemouth - the joint fastest goal of the season.

The giant Belgian traded passes with James McCarthy before skipping past a defender and curling home from just inside the area.

His effort - which was soon followed with an assists for McCarthy to double the lead - equalled Chelsea forward Pedro's strike against Manchester United.

And Lukaku added a third before the break as the Cherries endured a torrid first half at Goodison Park.

It takes his tally to 15 for the season and puts him right in the golden boot race - joint top with Alexis Sanchez and Diego Costa.
