Our darts blog has found a new home - follow for all the fallout from the US Darts Masters and the build-up to the Nordic Darts Masters.

  • What is the Nordic Darts Masters prize money?

The total pot of prize money has not increased or decreased from last year's winnings.

This means that the full amount of cash in the pot accumulates to £60,000.

    Here is the full breakdown:

    • Winner: £20,000
    • Runner-up: £10,000
    • Semi-finalists: £5,000
    • Quarter-finalists: £2,500
    • First round: £1,250
    • Total: £60,000
  • Littler reveals plans for first car

Luke Littler has revealed he will buy a VOLKSWAGEN when he passes his driving test.

The darts sensation, 17, was recently crowned Premier League champion after blowing his rivals away at the O2 in London.

It is estimated he has raked in £648,500 solely from darts, while his overall earnings are understood to be fast-approaching the £1million mark.

Yet he remains modest when it comes to the first car he wants to buy.

Speaking to The Mail, he said: "I'm 17, so I'm doing my (driving) lessons whenever I'm available. I'll go car shopping, see what I want.

"I can't go too big on the first car. Probably just a nice Volkswagen."

  • Cross wins with injury

Rob Cross conquered the Big Apple with a broken TOE and after pigging out on the city’s finest fast food.

Voltage, 33, was the best Englishman in New York as he beat Welshman Gerwyn Price 8-7 in the final of the US Darts Masters.

In the build-up to this World Series of Darts invitational, the Hastings target man tried to shed some weight with a quick gym session.

Yet it all went wrong as he ended up injuring himself in the process – and he will now be sidelined from any form of cardio for the foreseeable future.

Cross laughed: “I went to the gym once. I made ten minutes and broke my toe.

“So, that’s off the radar at the moment. The gym ain’t made for me. Not at the minute. It has not been easy on my foot.”

  • Paying the Price

Gerwyn Price sung the praises of Rob Cross but was left to rue blowing his commanding lead in the final after already beating Luke Littler.

The gutted Iceman said: "I’m just struggling to get over the winning line.

“I just want to get a win under my belt and get my confidence back, but fair play to Rob, he dug deep at the end.

“As much as I want to win, I’ve really enjoyed this weekend and I feel like a win is just around the corner for me.”

  • 'Absolutely amazing'

Speaking after his US Masters win, Rob Cross said: “This means a lot to me. I felt a little bit spent at the end and I thought Gezzy had me beaten, but I’m really glad to get over the line.

“Gezzy is probably my best mate on tour. He’s one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met, but for me to win any title with the likes of Luke Littler around, you’ve got to embrace it.

“I’m working really hard and I feel better than ever. I think I was a little bit fortunate tonight, but I’ve loved this weekend, it’s been absolutely amazing.”

  • Cross wins in New York

It was an incredible weekend for Rob Cross in New York as he beat three former world champions to pick up the US Darts Masters crown.

    Road to glory:

    • Round One: Rob Cross 6-1 Adam Sevada
    • Quarter-final: Rob Cross 6-4 Michael van Gerwen
    • Semi-final: Rob Cross 7-5 Luke Humphries
    • Final: Rob Cross 8-7 Gerwyn Price
  • Why isn't Littler playing at the Nordic Darts Masters?

Luke Littler will NOT feature at the Nordic Darts Masters this weekend due to family commitments, the Professional Darts Corporation confirmed.

Dimitri Van den Bergh will replace the Premier League king in Copenhagen.

The UK Open champion will compete alongside Luke Humphries, Michael Smith, Nathan Aspinall, Gerwyn Price, Rob Cross, Peter Wright and Stephen Bunting.

There will be a £60,000 overall prize pot, with the winner going home £20,000 richer.

  • Littler gives Ten Hag verdict

Luke Littler has thrown his support behind Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag.

Littler told The MMA Hour: "I want him to stay no matter what. Even if we lost.

"If you look down the line of managers we've had like Louis van Gaal who won the FA Cup and then got sacked after a season, I think Mourinho's the only one who had two to three years. David Moyes, he only had ten months.

"So I just think we [should] keep him. Because we're getting these managers for a year or two and they're not doing anything. So if we give them time things might change.

"I like what he does. Just give him time. Give him next season and if he doesn't do ought, let him go."

The firm already has stars including former England footie managers Kevin Keegan and Glenn Hoddle on its books and has high hopes for its new recruit.

Champions says: “Luke is making his mark in the world of darts, and solidifying his name in the history books of the sport.

  • Littler thankful for the support

Luke Littler was supported by the US crowd at the Masters.

Sadly, he could only make the semis - but he took home a lot from it.

He shared his feelings on X.

  • Cross played with a broken foot

ROB CROSS conquered the Big Apple with a broken TOE and after pigging out on the city’s finest fast food.

Voltage, 33, was the best Englishman in New York as he beat Welshman Gerwyn Price 8-7 in the final of the US Darts Masters.

  • Littler's modest buy

LUKE LITTLER spent some of his £315,000 Premier League winnings on a new £250 computer console.

And like most teenagers, he loves nothing more than spending hours on his own playing video games.

Asked how he has splashed the Prem cash following his outstanding victory at the O2 Arena, Littler replied: “None of them went to Fifa points.

“But I did buy a Nintendo Switch, which I have brought away with me to have a bit of fun.

“Usually we are sat in the hotel rooms waiting for the next day to play.

“We did some sight-seeing this week. I came back, chilled out and played on the Switch.”

  • Record breakers

The crowds were out in force for the world's best darts players in the US.

Across the two days, 7,500 punters turned up to watch Luke Littler and Co.

That is a record for the US Darts Open.

  • Saudi Price is right

Former world champion Gerwen Price has taken aim at “drunken hooligans” ruining darts events in a stunning backing of a proposal for the PDC to be held in Saudi Arabia.

He said: “Maybe it’s the way forward, less drunken hooligans that aren’t fans, causing fights, that turn up once in a blue moon and spoil the outcome of the game in what’s the most important event of the year for the players.

“If you want that atmosphere there’s four months of it with the Premier League.

“People can still enjoy themselves without alcohol.”

  • Littler enjoys New York

Luke Littler was eliminated at the semi-final stage at the US Darts Masters in New York.

But he has still had a brilliant time on the East Coast as he now prepares to fly to Orlando with his family.

And it appears the trip to WWE HQ was a highlight of his New York stay.

  • Little spender

Luke Littler spent some of his £315,000 Premier League winnings on a new £250 computer console.

When you watch his mature performances on the oche, it is easy to forget that the Warrington kid is still only 17-years-old.

“We did some sightseeing this week. I came back, chilled out and played on the Switch.”
