JAK JONES was consoled by his wife Inna as he joined Kyren Wilson's party after his heartbreaking World Snooker Championship final loss.
Wilson crushed the spirited comeback of qualifier Jones 18-14 in a tense-filled Crucible final.
But the two put rivalries aside to share a drink at the post-match afterparty.
Jones met wife Inna - a law student - in Latvia in 2016 while playing at the Riga Masters.
And they were pictured together at the afterparty bash as Wilson gave a speech to the audience.
Wilson - who scooped the £500,000 top prize - cried tears of joy after beating Jones before sharing a hug with his brother and two sons.

But the runners-up from Wales pocketed himself £200,000 and gave all the praise to Wilson.
He said: “Congratulations to Kyren and his family. They deserved it so much.
“An unbelievable tournament for me. A month ago, I was twitching in my first qualifying match. I am happy with that.
“I thought if I would try tried my best and see what happens but Kyren is solid and has a good all-round game. It wasn’t to be.”

Wilson ate only salmon in the run up to his title win - but fish was discarded during the after-party for chicken curry, chips and beers.
He never let go his grip of the silver snooker trophy – he cradled it like one of his children.
Wilson - who overtakes Ronnie O’Sullivan as world No.3 - has time on his side at 32 to succeed again at the game’s highest level.
And he said: “I’d be disappointed if I only landed one. I believe I can become a multiple world champion.
“This first one must be the hardest one to win – surely! I can build a legacy in this sport and that’s something I’d like to have a good crack at now I’ve got this one out of the way.”
