JAK JONES has been setting The Crucible alight with his performances to reach the final of the World Snooker Championship.
The Welsh star is the ninth qualifier to make the final of the big event.
However Jones said upon reaching the showpiece final he wasn't even at full pelt.
Jones, 30, said: "I don't feel like I've played well. I didn't come here with any confidence.
"If anything I wish I was putting something better on, for the people watching.
"But I suppose if I'm winning where I feel like that it can only get better."
On his incredible run, he added: "I've had so much disappointment in my career, I don't really get too excited or too down.
"I've watched the world final every year pretty much and thought what a dream it would be to be there and what an amazing occasion it is.

Jak has a big family with nine siblings, one sister and eight brothers.
And while his dad Colin travelled the globe to watch him play, his mum Debbie gets too nervous to watch him compete in person.
Jak said in an interview about his mother watching him play: “She might come up to wash my shirts or something, like she did for the previous match.
"She stayed up a couple of nights back, washed my shirts and went home the next morning.
"She can’t watch it live.
"She’ll watch it back if I’ve won afterwards.
“She has never been able to watch.
"Me and my dad have always gone around together and nobody else has ever really come."
